Impact is the change an organization seeks to produce in the world. It is not exhausted in its activities or immediate results, but in the lasting change it achieves in the field where it intervenes.
Measuring impact requires a structured methodology in order to be valid and communicable. Different methods exist for measuring impact. The main ones we apply integrate Social Return on Investment (SROI), which calculates in monetary terms what the organization achieves, with the Theory of Change. ToC organizes the components of organizational action across context and problem, resources, activities, outcomes and change.
Other impact indicators are used depending on the context, so that they remain useful for the organization and its specific needs.
